Toronto does it big when the Aurora Winter Festival opens and Ontario Place is transformed into Canada’s largest winter festival. Starting on November 22, 2019, to January 5, 2020, you can get tickets to this magical winter wonderland. Tickets range from $13 to $20 and admission will include: an outdoor ice-skating pond, a crafts area for children, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and other rides, and a Christmas market. This all-ages event is perfect for the whole family.

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, make your way over to the JJR Macleod Auditorium Medical Science Building to see a fascinating presentation about black holes. Their immense gravitational pull is enough to bend and even consume light. At this event, the speakers will explore whether black holes are as monstrous as they are portrayed in the media or are they just simply misunderstood. Admission is free.
